Job summary

Capital Infratechomes seeks a Head-Projects/ VP to provide strategic leadership for residential construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role oversees EPC, civil, and MEP packages and ensures compliance with HSE and building codes.

The candidate should have 15–20+ years in residential construction, with strong governance, risk management, and vendor relations experience to drive high-rise developments and mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Construction Management or Project Management is desirable for advanced oversight.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or Lean Construction are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for residential construction projects.

Job Title

Head-Projects/ VP

Role Summary

The Head-Projects/ VP is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for the execution of residential construction projects. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, statutory regulations, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.
• Lead high-level negotiations for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), civil, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) packages.
• Enforce adherence to local and national regulations (RERA, building codes, and labor laws), while proactively mitigating construction and financial risks.
• Establish project governance frameworks, construction methodologies, and operational best practices.
• Monitored the preparation of tender documents, including drawings, specifications, requirements, estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality parameters.
• Monitor project schedules, resource allocation, productivity, and cost performance and review project milestones and resolve critical execution challenges.
• Ensure adherence to established quality standards and construction specifications and Implement robust quality assurance and quality control systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company HSE policies and monitor safety performance indicators and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and profitability and review contractor billing, change orders
• Develop strategic relationships with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.

• Proven experience delivering at least 2 high-rise residential developments, townships, villas, or mixed-use residential projects.
