What You'll Do

A successful Verification Specialist will be mainly responsible for answering inbound and outbound calls for references, education, credential and employment verification. The candidate must have excellent attention to detail and a high level of analytical skills to provide a comprehensive report to the client.

• Manage inbound and outbound calls for employment, education and other reference verifications.
• Obtain verification and reference information via phone, fax, mail, etc.
• Investigate and confirm reference credibility.
• Update reference contact information within the database.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries from candidates and clients concerning the status of a background check request.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Coordinate with other departments via phone and email regarding the status of the background check.
• Transfer calls to appropriate departments.
• Update database and complete verification report.
• Other duties may be required such as setting up client orders, completing database checks, work allocation duties, and quality checks.

What You Will Need to be Successful

Candidate must have at least two years in college or one year in college with BPO experience. Experience doing inbound calls/transactions is recommended but not required.
