Job summary

OYO is seeking a Venue Manager to drive sales and guest experience across assigned venues in India. You will connect with leads, convert them into bookings, manage relationships with owners, and coordinate events to deliver an outstanding customer journey.

The role requires hands-on operations oversight, vendor negotiation, and signing authority for contracts. Travel to venues, use your own smartphone and laptop, and work six days a week with weekends off Monday.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in B2C/inside sales or hospitality sales.
• Experience in hotel/events/hospitality preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English and local language required.

Responsibilities

• Connect with all incoming customer leads via calling app (avg 50+ calls daily) and drive lead conversions.
• Manage revenue through relationships with customers and venue owners and implement marketing solutions.
• Ensure targets are met through revenue generation and collections across venues and products/packages.
• Oversee venue operations through effective stakeholder management (internal and external).
• Supervise events to ensure excellent customer experience and revenue growth.
• Sign contracts with customers for sales bookings on behalf of the company.
• Identify vendors and negotiate rates for signing and approving contracts under central guidance.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

A Venue Manager will be responsible to -

• 1. Ensure all incoming customer leads are connected with through the calling app(Avg 50+ customer call on daily basis) and lead conversion / sales maximisation to achieve sales target and drive profitability along with other business metrics, as communicated.
• 2. Revenue management to ensure revenue flow through healthy customer and owner relationships and execution of effective marketing solutions, as launched time to time
• 3. Ensure target achievement through revenue generation & collection effectively split across venues and products/packages tagged to them
• 4. To ensure smooth operations at the venue through stakeholder management (both internal and external)
• 5. Supervise and ensure smooth execution of events for an excellent customer experience
• 6. Signing authority for entering into contracts with customers for sales bookings on behalf of company
• 7. Vendor optimization identification and negotiation of vendor rates for signing and approving contracts as per guidance from the central team

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. At least one year of work experience in B2C/inside sales
• 2. Prior experience in hotel / events / hospitality sectors preferred, but not mandatory
• 3. Fluency in English and respective local language
• 4. Willingness to travel to assigned venues (travel reimbursement will be applicable)
• 5. Candidate should have their own smartphone (Android version 7 or above with call recording facility) to run calling app (phone reimbursement applicable)
• 6. Candidate should have their own Windows 10 laptop (device allowance will be provided every month)
• 7. Candidate should preferably have their own conveyance (two wheeler)
• 8. Willing to work 6 days / week (weekends working, week-off on Monday
