Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure reliable flow of items.
• Understand cost-benefit analysis for procurement decisions.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Implement procurement strategies to ensure availability of items while minimizing costs.
• Support inventory management including tracking, ordering, and replenishing products.
• Optimize transportation routes to reduce lead times and shipping costs; process customer orders.
• Process customer orders and identify any fraud activity.
• Track and analyze logistics metrics to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management with KPIs and recommendations.

We are looking for an experienced Shipping manager to manage daily shipping and distribution operations. You will be the one to ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner.

A successful shipping manager is analytical, well-organised and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

The goal is to ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively.

You will be responsible for managing routine shipping and distribution operations on a day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure reliable and efficient flow of items
• The person must have the understanding of Cost benefit analysis
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete stock
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, procurement strategies and improve supply chain efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives
• Implement procurement strategies that ensure the availability of items while minimizing costs
• Supporting inventory management, including tracking, ordering, and replenishing products as needed.

Requirements: Bachelors in B. COM, B.B.A and I.B.

Procurement experience is a plus
