Job summary

Tata Communications in India seeks an experienced supply chain professional to participate in procurement/vendor management/logistics/inventory/quality management, ensuring service availability to customers while driving cost efficiencies and timely delivery of orders. This is an operational role with direct impact on project results.

You will manage on-time delivery, accurate recording of warehouse receipts and dispatches, centralized scrap disposal, and coordination with transporters,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent qualification.
• 10–12 years of experience in supply chain or material management roles.

Responsibilities

• Ontime delivery of material to customer/POP locations.
• Accurate and timely recording of material received at and dispatched from the warehouse.
• Centralized disposal of scrap material for all locations in India.
• Effective coordination with transporters, suppliers, contractors, and 3PL partners.
• Accuracy of material inventory and alignment between physical stock and system records.
• Compliance with statutory, safety, security, and audit requirements as required by regulatory, certification and EOHS standards.
• Compliance with GST requirements with regard to movement of material

Broad outline of the Role

Participate in various stages of supply chain processes, in area of procurement/vendor management/logistics/ inventory/quality management to ensure service availability to the customers and at the same time driving cost efficiencies, quality management and timely delivery of orders. This is an operational role which is responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results for projects undertaken as per business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications Experience

• Bachelor s Degree in engineering or business or equivalent qualification
• 10-12 years of experience in supply chain or material management roles

Other Knowledge Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
• Expertise in warehouse, Logistics, Inventory management Waste disposal management
• Expertise in 3rd party logistics management
