Red Envelope Consultants in Mundra, Gujarat is seeking a skilled Utility Foreman to manage the operation and maintenance of plant utility equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable utility systems with minimal downtime.

The role requires 5–8 years in utility operation with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and knowledge of HVAC, WTP/STP, pumps, and energy management.

Qualifications

Diploma or BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred; ITI candidates with relevant utility maintenance experience also considered.
Boiler Attendant Certificate will be an added advantage.
5–8 years of experience in utility operation and maintenance in a manufacturing plant; minimum 2 years in a Foreman/Supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operation and maintenance of plant utility systems.
Operate and maintain air compressors, air dryers, chillers, cooling towers and pumps.
Monitor process parameters and energy consumption; maintain logs and equipment reports.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and EHS teams.
Train and supervise Utility Operators and Technicians; enforce SOPs, safety and LOTO.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Utility Foreman to handle the operation and maintenance of plant utility equipment. The candidate will ensure that all utility systems are running safely and smoothly with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily operation and maintenance of plant utility systems.
Operate and maintain air compressors, air dryers, chillers, cooling towers and pumps.
Monitor compressed air pressure, chilled water temperature, water flow and equipment performance.
Maintain WTP, STP, fire hydrant systems and utility piping.
Perform preventive maintenance and attend breakdowns to reduce equipment downtime.
Identify and resolve utility equipment problems.
Monitor and reduce energy consumption and utility losses.
Maintain daily utility log sheets, maintenance records and equipment reports.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and EHS teams.
Coordinate with OEMs and contractors when required.
Supervise Utility Operators and Technicians and allocate daily work.
Train the team on SOPs and safe working practices.
Ensure proper LOTO, safety procedures and housekeeping in utility areas.

Required Qualification

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
