You will lead a maintenance team, develop preventive programs, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations across the site. A strong cross-functional mindset and cost-conscious approach are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation and performance of plant utility systems (air, HVAC, water treatment, chillers, boilers).
• Ensure 100% uptime and uninterrupted supply of utilities for production processes.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime.
• Guarantee compliance with local and national safety, environmental regulations and audits.
• Monitor daily utility consumption, analyse variances, and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the utility maintenance team and coordinate with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Utility Systems Management: Oversee the daily operations, performance, and efficiency of all plant utility systems, including compressed air, HVAC, water treatment plants, chillers, boilers, and power distribution.
• Uninterrupted Supply & Operations: Ensure 100% uptime and a continuous, stable supply of utilities to support core manufacturing and plant production processes without disruption.
• Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Develop, schedule, and execute robust preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
• Safety, Statutory, & Environmental Compliance: Guarantee absolute adherence to all local and national regulatory standards, environmental policies, and safety protocols, managing necessary documentation and audits.
• Resource Monitoring & Sustainability: Actively monitor daily utility consumption, analyze variances, and design and execute strategic energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and carbon footprint.
• Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead, mentor, and manage the utility maintenance team. Foster seamless collaboration with the production and quality departments to align on operational priorities and resolve technical issues swiftly.
