Job summary

Sharp Brains seeks a UI/UX designer to craft intuitive interfaces for enterprise-scale web and mobile applications. You will translate complex business needs into practical design solutions, build wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces, and contribute to scalable design systems.

You will collaborate with analysts, solution architects, developers, and project managers to ensure accessibility and responsive experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven UI/UX design experience for enterprise apps and transformations.
• Experience with wireframes, prototypes, and visual design deliverables.
• Strong focus on usability, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable components.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Knowledge of frontend fundamentals (HTML/CSS) a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually consistent web and application interfaces.
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective UI designs.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, developers, and project managers.
• Ensure designs are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
• Apply usability, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure consistency across screens, workflows, and digital products.
• Support developers during implementation and provide UI specifications/assets.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in User Interface Design and UX/UI Design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into simple and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working on large-scale or high-complexity enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise applications and digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of WCAG/accessibility standards.
• Experience with design systems such as Material Design.
• Basic understanding of React, Angular, or other frontend frameworks.
• Experience conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback.
• Relevant UI/UX or design certification is an advantage.
