Job summary

Photon is seeking a recruiter to join our India-based team, focusing on US IT roles from Hyderabad. You will own end-to-end sourcing, screening, and candidate validation for US client openings.

You will build pipelines from scratch using LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, and referrals, while applying strong Boolean/x-ray search techniques and passive outreach. You will work with US hiring managers, navigate CST timings, and leverage AI-driven workflows to optimize efficiency and ensure quality

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of US IT recruiting experience.
• Proven ability to build pipelines from scratch using sourcing tools.
• Strong Boolean and x-ray search skills with effective outreach.
• Ability to screen by architecture knowledge and real contribution.
• Knowledge of US work authorization models and transfers.

We're a digital engineering company hiring the engineers, architects, and product talent who works with 40% of the Fortune 100 clients across the domains. Our India-based talent acquisition team recruits directly into those US accounts.

What we're looking for

• 2–6 years of US IT recruiting experience. Candidates with 7+ years need not apply, this role is scoped for this band only.
• Sourcing is the job. You should be building pipelines from scratch through LinkedIn Recruiter, database mining, referrals, and passive outreach.
• Strong Boolean and x-ray skills, with outreach that actually gets responses.
• Able to screen past keyword matching-understand the stack, probe architecture and real contribution, and hold your own with engineers.
• Able to spot fake and inflated profiles - AI-written resumes, fabricated project detail, retroactive capability inflation, proxy interview risk.
• Solid on US work authorization and engagement models: W2, C2C, 1099, H-1B and transfers, GC/EAD, TN.
• Should be Comfortable with US shift CST timings.
• Direct ownership of your reqs and real exposure to US client hiring managers
• Sourcing tooling and AI-driven workflows with minimal manual grind
• Clear metrics and a defined path to senior recruiter and account ownership
