Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented US IT Recruiting Team Lead with a minimum of 6 years of core experience in US IT staffing. In this role, you will play a pivotal dual role: driving your own recruitment targets as a high-performing Individual Contributor while simultaneously leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of US IT Recruiters.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional people skills, proven conflict-management abilities, and a track record of driving teams toward aggressive placement goals. Because this role supports the North American market, it requires working regular Night Shifts onsite at our Mumbai office.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead & Mentor: Oversee a team of US IT recruiters, providing daily guidance, performance monitoring, and strategic direction.
• Drive Targets: Motivate the team to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly submission, interview, and placement targets.
• Conflict Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for internal team conflicts, performance bottlenecks, or placement hurdles, handling them with maturity and diplomacy.
• Performance Tracking: Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training gaps, and implement strategies to upscale team capabilities.

Individual Contribution (IC Role)

• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and place high-caliber IT professionals for US-based clients.
• Advanced Sourcing: Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, and passive sourcing channels to build a robust talent pipeline.
• Tax Terms & Compliance: Hands‑on experience working with various tax terms like W2, C2C, and 1099, as well as managing visa types (H1B, OPT, EAD, Green Card, US Citizens).

Strategy & Collaboration

• Client Delivery: Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client requirements and ensure the team delivers quality resumes within tight deadlines.
• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on US IT hiring trends, rate structures, and technological advancements to guide the team effectively.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience in US IT Recruitment, with at least 12 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory capacity.
• People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport with both international candidates and internal team members.
• Leadership Traits: Proven ability to manage people, resolve workplace conflicts constructively, and maintain high team morale in a high‑pressure environment.
• Target‑Driven: A strong history of achieving both individual and team‑level placement metrics.
• Shift & Location: Absolute willingness to work a permanent Night Shift onsite at our Mumbai facility.
