Job Description

Job Title: US IT Recruiter / Sr. US IT Recruiter

Reporting To: AM / Director.

No of Positions: 10

Experience: 1 to 5 yrs.

Job Location: Bangalore ; Whitefield

The primary responsibility of the recruiter is to make placements/closures against a given client requirement for IT professionals in the US job market. Recruiters will have to source, qualify and submit the resumes to the respective account managers against a requirement assigned by the account manager. He / She is responsible for identifying and screening/evaluating qualified candidates for an open position with a client. The recruiter is expected to understand the IT People requirements of the client companies sent by the account managers and find the consultants who satisfy those requirements and ensure the placements for the assigned requirements.

Key Skills Required

• Understand the requirements assigned by the account managers.
• Working with Visa Holders like H1B, TN, GC, US Citizen, GC EAD and H4EAD.
• Negotiate the rate with candidates on tax terms like W2, 1099 and Corp. to Corp. for hourly rates.
• Hands-on experience on Job portals (Dice, Monster US, Indeed etc.)
• Search for the consultants on the search engines and job portals.
• Submit the consultant resumes along with information on his/her evaluation of the consultant.
• Coordinate with the consultant and the account manager for scheduling the interviews and upon selection to complete the paperwork.
• Engage the consultants in communication and build relationships with them.
• Recruiter should possess
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken, skills.
• Telephonic and e-communication skills
• Computer skills with proficiency in using MS word and excel.
• Knowledge of internet and its use
• Skill to search on various search engines including the job portals for the specified consultants.
• Knowledge of different technologies and the terminology of the software development environment are required.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure
• Knowledge of different employment statuses in the US and the related laws.

The person will be working the night shifts. He / She will be provided with the necessary infra and the required software. They will be trained in the internal processes and the software being used to facilitate the process.

The recruiter will be reporting to the local manager while working closely with the account managers who will assign the requirements.
