Sales Engineer for Transformer

Key Responsibilities

• Transformer sales management: Lead sales of distribution and power transformers for industrial, commercial, and utility clients.
• Solution selling: Position company's transformer product as a solution partner offering complete transformer-based power solutions.
• Client engagement: Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and project developers.
• Market development: Identify and track upcoming projects in Hyderabad and Bangalore, including industrial parks, data centres, and utility expansions.
• Techno-commercial discussions: Drive specification alignment, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closure.
• Cross-functional coordination: Collaborate with engineering teams for customized transformer designs compliant with client requirements.
• CRM discipline: Ensure pipeline visibility, accurate forecasting, and structured reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in transformer sales or electrical project sales.
• Strong understanding of transformer applications in industrial, commercial, and utility sectors.
• Exposure to EPC contractors, consultants, and project developers.
• Ability to manage complex, high-value project sales cycles.
• Strong network in South Indias power and infrastructure ecosystem preferred.

Experience

• 2-4 years in transformer/electrical project sales.
• Prior exposure to South India markets (Hyderabad/Bangalore) highly preferred.

Education

• B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical) preferred.
• MBA (Marketing) is an advantage.

• Salary upto 60 K CTC.
