Job summary

Duruper is seeking an experienced Trading Manager to lead our nickel, copper and aluminium trading business in domestic and international markets. You will develop trading strategies, identify opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to drive profitable growth.

You will monitor global commodity market trends, negotiate contracts and terms, travel for meetings, and coordinate with the head office to deliver results in a dynamic metals trading environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in international commodity trading, sales or business development.
• Relevant experience in nickel, copper or aluminium trading with understanding of respective markets.
• Experience in sales or export department of a metal manufacturing company or trading firm is preferred.
• Knowledge of international trade practices, commercial negotiations and supplier/customer management.
• Strong understanding of global market dynamics, commodity pricing and business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading strategies for nickel, copper and aluminium products.
• Manage nickel trading, including Nickel Pig Iron (NPI), Ferro-Nickel and stainless steel materials.
• Manage copper trading, including copper scrap, copper cathodes and copper rods.
• Manage aluminium trading, including aluminium scrap, billets and ingots.
• Identify and acquire new customers, suppliers and business partners in domestic and international markets.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, traders, buyers and suppliers.
• Monitor global commodity prices, market developments, supply-demand trends and competitor activities.
• Conduct business trips to meet customers and suppliers and explore new trading opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Seoul Head Office and provide regular market intelligence on Indian market conditions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery conditions to achieve profitable trading outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of trading transactions and achievement of business targets.
