Job summary

Tata Projects Limited is hiring for a field surveying role focused on transmission line projects. The candidate will perform route alignment and detailed field surveys, prepare AutoCAD drawings, and contribute to tender proposals with benching and crossing plans.

Ideal candidates hold an ITI/diploma in surveying and have hands-on experience with DGPS, total station, theodolites, and leveling instruments. Strong client coordination and on-site execution are essential.

• Ability to interpret AI/AutoCAD drawings and prepare profiles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct route alignment and survey for tenders.
• Perform walk over, detail and check surveys.
• Prepare profiles and AutoCAD drawings.
• Propose benching, revetment, crossings and other civil works.
• Oversee foundations and erection activities on site.
• Coordinate with clients on project needs and issues.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Route Alignment.
• Walk Over Survey for tendered
• Detail Survey & Check Survey.
• Making Profiles & AutoCAD Drawings.
• Making proposals for benching, revetment, railway crossings, river crossings, power line crossings, Raised Chimney, ULE, PTCC, civil and defense aviation & forest proposals.
• Pre-Cast Foundation, Pile Foundation, Open Foundation
• Prop Setting & supervision of foundation and erection works.
• Solving day to day ROW Problem and Encountered in the Corridors of Transmission line.
• Coordination with client.

Instrument Handling:

• DGPS (Trimble, Sokkia, Leica)
• Total Station (Sokkia, Leica, South, Topcon)
• Digital Theodolite
• Optical Theodolite (16201)
• Vernier Theodolite
• Auto Level
• Dumpy Level with hand GPS

Preferred candidate profile

• 0615 years of relevant experience, with a focus on Transmission Line.
