Job summary

Stryker Group in Patna, India seeks a field sales professional to expand the hospital and doctor network for orthopedic/medical devices.

You will implement sales activities, identify opportunities, work with regional managers, and convert new accounts to drive growth while maintaining key relationships.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of sales experience in healthcare.
• Experience in surgical/clinical product sales preferred.
• Experience recruiting in medical device or pharma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement sales activities to achieve budgeted sales and profitability for the assigned area/territory.
• Support Regional Sales Business Manager to promote products to individual doctors and hospitals in the region.
• Identify new business opportunities via tender and government businesses.
• Ensure efficient use of demo units in the territory.
• Collaborate with ABM/ZSM as required.
• Retain key accounts and explore new accounts to grow Stryker's customer pool.
• Develop and manage channels (distributors and direct sales) in the area.

What you will do:

• Implement sales activities to achieve budgeted sales and profitability goal for the assigned area / territory.
• Support Regional Sales Business Manager to promote products to individual doctors & hospitals in assigned region.
• Reach out to identify new business opportunities by means of tender & government businesses.
• Ensure efficient use of company's demo units in the territory.
• Collaborate & cooperate with ABM / ZSM as & when required.
• Retain key accounts & explore new accounts/business opportunities to build Strykers‘ customer pool
• Identify, develop & manage different channels of business (distributors & direct sales) in the area.
• Provide solutions to customers to meet their specifications on the basis of techno-commercial discussions.
• Upgrade existing customers to newer technologies.

What you need:

• At least 4-7 years’ sales experience in healthcare, preferred surgical/clinical product sales or Pharma industries.
• Experience recruiting within the medical device, life sciences, bio-tech, pharmaceutical, or related industries a plus
• Minium 2 years of experience into Orthopedic/OR/Arthroplasty
