Job summary

Client of Peopleplease Consulting seeks a proactive sales professional to generate and qualify new enquiries in the construction equipment sector. You will map contractors, infrastructure projects, builders, quarry/mining and rental companies, and industrial customers, conducting meetings and site visits to assess applications.

Your role includes understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable machines, presenting specs and economics, and preparing quotations while supporting

Qualifications

• Experience in other construction equipment / earthmoving equipment companies.
• Practical knowledge of the relevant equipment, customer applications and field environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate, identify and qualify new enquiries.
• Map contractors, infrastructure projects, builders, quarry/mining companies, rental companies and industrial customers.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits and application assessments.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend the appropriate machine.
• Present machine specifications, productivity, operating economics and application benefits.
• Prepare quotations and support negotiations.
• Coordinate with finance partners for customer finance requirements.
• Coordinate booking, delivery and commissioning.
• Hand over customers effectively to the Service team.
• Develop key accounts, repeat business and customer referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
