Job summary

PeopleStrong in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Recovery Lead to oversee the recovery operations across 45-60 branches within a 250–400 km radius. You will manage a team of Area Recovery Managers and drive strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries.

The role requires 5+ years in BFSI recovery, strong knowledge of legal and risk management, and ability to negotiate settlements with customers. You will liaise with internal functions and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and data-driven

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Recovery / BFSI
• Experience in managing field teams and recovery operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries, in line with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously review and improve recovery processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions
• Oversee a portfolio of business loans, identifying potential risks and opportunities for recovery, and developing targeted recovery plans.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, including sales, and risk teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Interact with customers to negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and other recovery-related activities.
• Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.
• Data Management: Provide regular reports and analysis on recovery performance, including metrics such as recovery rates, days to recover, and loss given default.
