Job summary

Qualifications

• Tendering and bid management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FIDIC and PSU/government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities across CPPP, GeM, state portals, PSUs and private enquiries.
• Prepare and maintain prequalification and empanelment documentation and bid submissions.
• Coordinate EMD, bank guarantees, bid securities and related financial instruments.
• Lead bid/no-bid decisions with risk, scope and competitive positioning.
• Interface with design, planning, procurement and execution teams for handover.

Job description

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities across government e-procurement portals (CPPP, GeM, state portals), PSU tenders (EIL, IOCL, BPCL, Power Grid, etc.) and private/MNC enquiries
• Prepare and maintain prequalification and empanelment documentation
• Compile complete technical and commercial bids, ensuring full compliance with tender conditions and deadlines
• Coordinate EMD, bank guarantees, bid securities and related financial instruments
• Lead bid/no-bid decisions with a clear read of scope, risk and competitive positioning
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and BOQ analysis for civil, structural, MEP and PEB scopes
• Build up costs through rate analysis, vendor and subcontractor quotations, material and labour rates
• Determine competitive yet profitable bid pricing, margins and markups
• Benchmark estimates against past project actuals to improve accuracy over time

Contract Management

• Review, negotiate and finalise contract terms and conditions (including FIDIC and standard PSU/government contract frameworks)
• Identify and mitigate commercial, legal and delivery risks before signing
• Manage variations, claims, extensions of time and dispute avoidance through the project lifecycle
• Track contractual obligations, milestones and liabilities; coordinate with legal counsel where needed

Coordination & Handover

• Interface with design, planning, procurement and execution teams to validate assumptions and scope
• Liaise with clients, consultants and PMCs during the bid and negotiation stages
• Ensure clean, documented handover of won contracts to the execution team
