Job summary

Vaibhav Inter Decor in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced estimator and procurement professional to drive tendering activities across civil, plumbing and interior works. You will scrutinize documents, prepare pre-qualification packages, evaluate drawings and schedules, and negotiate with suppliers on both technical and commercial terms.

JOB DESCRIPTION: -

• Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standard as well project specific questionnaires
• Scrutiny of tender documents, Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules
• Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations
• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
• Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined scope of work.
• Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.
• Provide Suppliers/Manufacturers / MEP Consultants Data to the procurement, as & when it is available
• Support technically in review of design packages and drawings.
• Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities
• Support contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations, esp. Pricing for Civil, Plumbing and Interior work. Assist in make and buy estimate decision process
• Engineer and coordinate with teammates on company estimating methods and preparation directions.
• Upgrade on changing developments in estimating advances by reviewing technical literature, contact with contractors, visits to construction locations and attending professional and technical meetings.
• Responsibility of all tendering activities to be taken. From PQ, tender reading, costing & revisions, queries to be clarified from / to client, attending negotiation meeting, understand the requirements, budgeting of projects on award of project and lead the project to a hindrance free execution (but not necessary, on field / at operational level). Also, on award of project, need to confirm whether the terms & conditions match to what was mutually agreed.
