Role Description The Tender Officer is responsible for managing the complete tendering process, including identifying relevant tenders, collecting requirements, and preparing documentation and proposals in line with company standards. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with sales, technical, and finance teams to gather inputs, ensuring compliance with tender terms, and maintaining accurate records and databases of tenders and submissions. The role involves monitoring tender portals, tracking deadlines, following up on submitted bids, and supporting post-tender clarifications and negotiations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring regular collaboration with internal stakeholders and timely communication with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Strong tender management and documentation skills, including the ability to interpret tender requirements and prepare structured, compliant proposals.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and comfort working with online tender portals and document management systems.
• Solid analytical and numerical skills to review technical and commercial terms, compare bid conditions, and support pricing decisions.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities to work with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with clients and government/industry bodies.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in tendering or bid management in an industrial or engineering environment is preferred.
• Tender products of the power sector or industrial equipment markets is mandatory.
