Job Purpose
As a Tender/GeM coordinator, you would be responsible for the preparation and submission of various tenders and to manage or supervise the entire tendering process.
Major Roles and Responsibilities
- Study Qualification Criteria of tenders and make assessment for qualification.
- Preparation of price bids by making/filling various schedules given in bid.
- Physical submission of tenders either personally or delegating the same to the respective account management team.
- In case of E-tenders: scanning/uploading of documents on websites.
- Should have in-depth knowledge of GeM (Government e-Market Place) Portal.
- Attending price-bid (commercial opening) meetings; preparation of comparison chart / analysis report and submission of the same to the respective Manager.
- Keeping track of live (submitted) tenders from the tender floating stage up to award of work.
In Case Of Award Of Work, Following Formalities
- Attending post-bid / pre-award discussions and preparation of MOM (minutes of the meeting).
- Verification/study of LOA / LOI / Detailed order in line with specifications and check for deviations, if any.
- Submission of order acceptance along with deviations, if any.
- Arranging / submission of Performance BG / Advance BG for the project.
- Executing / signing of Contract Agreements.
- Contract book binding and distribution of copies to HO / Site / Client.
In case of unsuccessful bidder, applying for refund of EMD BG / EMD DD. Tracking of EMD refund payment by making constant follow-up including personal visits to customer’s office. Post Order help to HO teams / Clients for various queries, amendments, etc.
Required education: Bachelor’s
Required experience: 2-3 years
Required language: Hindi, English, Telugu
