Role Overview
We are looking for a Tender Executive to manage our end-to-end tender process, with strong e-tendering expertise on the GeM portal, while also supporting core administrative and documentation functions for our aerospace and defence metals supply operations.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
- Manage the tender lifecycle from identification to submission and follow-up
- Prepare and submit tenders on the GeM portal, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive bid strategies and pricing
- Track tender status, deadlines, and renewals; maintain a tender tracker
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records of tender documents, GRNs, invoices, delivery challans, and test certificates
- Organize and archive physical and digital documentation systematically
- Coordinate with warehouse and office teams for timely paperwork processing
- Communicate updates, delays, or issues promptly to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- 13 years' experience in tendering, e-procurement (GeM), or administrative/operations roles
- Working knowledge of GeM portal processes and government tendering norms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
