Job summary

Sanrachna Group in India seeks a procurement and tendering professional responsible for end-to-end project bidding and purchasing. You will study RFQs, ITTs, BOQs, and drawings; prepare cost breakdowns; source quotes; ensure compliance with GST, ISO, PAN, and digital signatures across GeM and e-procurement portals.

You will also manage supplier evaluations, draft POs and contracts, coordinate with logistics, and oversee cost control and variations to keep projects on budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
• Experience with cost modeling and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with IS/CPWD/FIDIC codes and procurement rules.

Responsibilities

• Tendering, bidding, and winning projects through RFQ/ITT/BOQ.
• Prepare cost breakdowns for competitive proposals.
• Source and evaluate supplier quotes for bids.
• Ensure GST, ISO, PAN compliance and timely submissions on GeM or portals.
• Attend pre-bid clarifications and draft responses.
• Evaluate technical offers to ensure alignment with specs and codes.
• Draft POs & contracts; negotiate terms and manage procurement.
• Track deliveries and logistics to prevent delays.
• Handle changes, variations, and RA bills with cost control.

Role & responsibilities

1. Tendering & Bidding (Winning Projects)

• Study Tender Documents: Review Request for Quotations ( RFQs), Invitations to Tender (ITT), Bills of Quantities (BOQs) , and engineering drawings.

• Cost Estimation & Pricing : Prepare material , labor, and equipment cost breakdowns to build competitive financial and technical proposals.

• Vendor & Subcontractor Quotes: Sourcing and evaluating initial price quotation from suppliers to feed into the bid.

• Compliance & Submission : Ensure statutory documents (GST, ISO, PAN, digital signatures/DSC) and technical compliance matrices are ready before deadlines on portals like GeM or e-procurement platforms.

• Clarifications : Attend pre- bid meetings and draft responses to client queries or corrigenda.

2. Procurement & Sourcing (Executing Projects)

• Technical Evaluation : Assess supplier and contractor offers to ensure technical specs, quality standards, and codes (IS, CPWD,FIDIC) match project needs.

• Purchase Orders (POs) & Contracts: Draft RFQs, negotiate pricing and payment terms , and manage formal purchase orders.

• Supply Chain Coordination: Track deliveries, logistics, and site requirements to prevent project delays.

• Cost Control & Variations : Handle rate analysis for extra items, change orders, and subcontractor or client billing (RA bills).

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Acumen: Ability to read interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and specifications (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical).

• Software Proficiency : Advanced Microsoft Excel ( cost models, data formulas), AutoCAD (quantity verification), and ERP systems.

• Portal Knowledge : Familiarity with e- tendering gateways, GeM, and central / state procurement rules.

• Commercial & Legal Sense : Understanding of contract terms, warranties, penalties, and tax structures (GST/TDS).
