Job summary

Waterstow Infra Services Private Limited in Lucknow is seeking an experienced Tender & Business Development Manager to lead construction tendering, bid management and business development activities from our Lucknow office.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in civil construction/infrastructure tendering, especially government and EPC projects.

Qualifications

• 37 years of experience in construction/tendering or business development.
• Hands-on experience with government e-tendering portals.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, rate analysis and construction contracts.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and tender documentation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tender deadlines.
• Experience in civil/infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track government and private construction/infrastructure tenders.
• Monitor e-tendering portals and maintain a live tender pipeline.
• Study NIT, tender documents, BOQ, specifications, eligibility criteria and contract conditions.
• Evaluate tender feasibility, commercial terms, risks, EMD, PBG and project requirements.
• Coordinate BOQ analysis, quantity verification and rate analysis.
• Prepare technically and commercially compliant tender submissions.
• Manage complete tender submission from document collection to final submission.
• Track tender deadlines, corrigenda, pre-bid meetings and client clarifications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, vendors and business partners.
• Identify upcoming construction opportunities and develop new business leads.
• Maintain records of submitted, won and lost tenders.
• Analyze tender results and improve future bidding strategies.
• Coordinate with management, QS, accounts and project teams for tender preparation.
• Maintain accurate tender and business development MIS.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Experience & Skills

• 37 years of experience in construction/infrastructure tendering or business development.
• B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Hands-on experience with government e-tendering portals.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, rate analysis and construction contracts.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and tender documentation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tender deadlines.
• Experience in civil/infrastructure projects is preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in the following will be preferred:

• Water supply projects
• Jal Jeevan Mission
• UP Jal Nigam or similar government departments
• EPC projects
• Civil infrastructure
• OHT/ESR/WTP/WSS projects
• Government construction contracts

The selected candidate will be responsible for building a strong tender pipeline, improving bid quality and contributing directly to Waterstow's business growth.
