Job summary

Sciente Group, a Singapore-headquartered technology-focused firm, is expanding its India tech recruitment consulting team to support APAC growth in data, AI, and tech talent services. The role focuses on building and leading a dedicated APAC TA team and delivering KPI-driven results for Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines clients.

The candidate will drive consultative recruiting, craft sourcing strategies, understand client needs, and present top talent profiles to clients.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in executive search or IT talent acquisition.
• At least 3 years leading a team for Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines clients.
• Proven track record in leading a productive APAC team.
• Engineering or computer science education is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a team of TAs for APAC and achieve monthly KPIs.
• Understand APAC IT job requirements and client expectations.
• Derive effective sourcing strategies to reach APAC tech talents.
• Guide talents for career progression in a consultative manner.
• Work closely with on-site client-facing managers and BD managers.
• Present right talent profiles to clients.
• Own relationships with shortlisted candidates throughout the process.
• Facilitate matching and hiring processes for clients.

What is expected from this role to start with?

• Build and manage a team of TAs for APAC region and to ensure the desired key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved by the team on a monthly basis
• Team members must follow a consultative approach to understand the on-site IT job role requirements & expectations we have in Asia Pacific (APAC);
• Understand various technologies involved in the role and how it works;
• Derive an effective sourcing strategy to reach out to right group of tech talents within the APAC country of job role;
• Understand the matching skills/capabilities/aspirations of the tech talents;
• Guide talents for their career progression in a consultative manner (candidate management);
• Work closely with on-site client facing managers/business development managers;
• Present the right talent profiles to the clients or client facing managers;
• Own-up and build good rapport/relationship with the shortlisted candidates through out the process;
• Manage shortlisted candidates proactively with a consultative approach;
• Facilitate the matching/hiring process for the client to hire the right talents, bingo! That's what is expected from this role.

Who shall fit-in the best for this role?

• Relevant work experience of 10 years in executive search or IT talent acquisition or tech recruitment in client servicing environment shall be needed;
• At least 3 years of recent work experience of leading a team for Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines clients is a "MUST";
• You must have a proven track record in leading a productive team of consultants serving APAC region;
• Communication, inter-personal skills, meticulous and result-orientation are the most important attributes for this role;
• Having a mind-set of delivering value to make candidates/clients succeed and commitment to the purpose of the role;
• Positive attitude to put-in efforts to achieve the desired goals shall make you a good fit for this role;
• Education in engineering or computer science related discipline shall be highly desired;
• This being a tech specialised role, ability to keep learning is one of the key success factors for this role.
