Job summary

Konecranes India in Chennai invites a Field Service Engineer to join our on-site team. You will oversee maintenance and service at customer locations, ensuring safety and reliability of lifting equipment in line with ISO standards.

You should have a Diploma/ITI in Electrical, hands-on service experience, and skills in CRM Siebel and crane knowledge. You will coordinate with the service manager and customers to plan work and optimize uptime.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical required.
• Experience with field service tasks and service planning.
• Knowledge of cranes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work assignments planned by branch and carried out at site.
• Accept work packages and enter work against SR/WP.
• Do not create new service requests except via ‘do work’.
• Record faults using Risk & Recommendation method.
• Estimate labor hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with customers to inform buying decisions based on recommendations.

We are now looking for Field Service Engineer who is passionate about working in Field Services role. In this role, you will be responsible for the services and maintenance at site location.

Your key role:

• 1. Work assignments are planned by the branch (service planner or maintenance planner) and assigned to the field operative.
• 2. The field operative accepts work packages and enters work against the SR/WP.
• 3. The field operative cannot create new service requests (except through “do work”).
• 4. Record faults/exceptions using Risk & Recommendation method,
• 5. Estimate labor hours and parts cost for repairs.
• 6. Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• 7. Consult with our customers to permit informed buying decisions based on recommendations made.

Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
