Job description

Field Service Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for providing services and maintenance at site locations.

Responsibilities

• Work assignments are planned by the branch (service planner or maintenance planner) and assigned to the field operative.
• The field operative accepts work packages and records work against the SR/WP.
• The field operative cannot create new service requests (except through “do work”).
• Record faults/exceptions using the Risk & Recommendation method.
• Estimate labour hours and parts cost for repairs.
• Perform Safety Review and Visit Review and record next steps.
• Consult with customers to enable informed buying decisions based on recommendations made.
• Follow Konecranes safety protocol and ensure the use of safety PPEs provided by the company, such as safety shoes, safety harness, etc.
