Job summary

IVY Mobility is seeking a Technical Writer to design, develop, and govern training content and internal documentation across multiple product lines. The role combines strong writing with technical architecture acumen, governance, and leadership to champion documentation quality and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end documentation for assigned products and platforms.
• Create and maintain User Guides, Administrator Guides, Knowledge Base Articles, Release Notes, API Documentation, Integration Guides, and Troubleshooting Manuals.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate and aligned with product releases.
• Establish documentation standards, templates, style guides, and best practices.
• Improve information architecture and documentation discoverability.
• Conduct regular content audits and implement improvements.
• Leverage analytics, support trends, and user feedback.
• Develop developer-focused documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger or Postman.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams.
• Drive process improvements through automation and reusable content.
• Implement AI-assisted documentation and Documentation-as-Code practices.
• Mentor junior technical writers.
• Partner with Product Managers, QA, and Customer Success teams.
• Participate in sprint reviews and product planning.
• Foster a documentation culture supporting product adoption and operational efficiency.

The Technical Writer is responsible for the design, development, management, and continuous improvement of training

content and internal documentation across multiple product lines.

The ideal candidate must combine exceptional writing

skills with technical architecture expertise, documentation governance, and leadership experience. This individual will

act as the documentation champion within the organization, ensuring all content is accurate, scalable, discoverable, and

aligned with strategic business objectives.

Technical Skills

• Documentation Platforms: Expert proficiency in Confluence, GitBook, ReadTheDocs, and MadCap Flare.
• API Documentation: Advanced experience with Swagger, Postman, OpenAPI, and Stoplight.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Web Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS basics, and expert-level Markdown.
• Analytics: Familiarity with Google Analytics and Help Center analytics tools.
