Job summary

Bestal Hr in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Documentation Specialist to own end-user documentation, onboarding guides, tutorials, and release notes as the product evolves. You will ensure content accuracy and consistency across versions.

You will create self-paced courses, video scripts, quick-reference guides, and visuals, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Support to produce clear, accessible content and maintain high content standards and proofreading quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-user documentation user guides, how-to articles, in-app help, and release notes keeping it accurate as the product evolves
• Own the onboarding experience getting-started guides, in-app guidance, tutorials, and walkthroughs that get new users productive fast
• Create training material self-paced courses, quick-reference guides, and video scripts for both customer enablement and internal staK training
• Research the product hands-on and partner with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, onboarding, and support teams to produce authoritative content that keeps pace with development
• Build documentation from scratch where none exists, and audit, restructure, and update whats incomplete or outdated
• Create content in a variety of formats to fit each audience written docs, presentation decks, in-app help, and video tutorials, plus diagrams and infographics where they add clarity
• Set and maintain content standards — tone, style, version control, and lifecycle — so quality holds at scale
• Edit and proofread all content, and serve as the team’s authority on documentation best practices, tooling, and content-design trends
