Role Description

The Technical Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role involves engaging with industrial clients to understand their technical and operational requirements, proposing appropriate products and solutions, and preparing quotations and technical offers. The Technical Sales Engineer will conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations, while coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design and timely delivery. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, responding to technical inquiries, providing post-sales technical support, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company offerings, industry standards, and competitor products to support effective sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong technical sales and sales engineering skills, with experience in presenting and positioning industrial solutions to clients.
• Capability in technical support, including troubleshooting, product application guidance, and post-sales assistance.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction, technical discussions, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
• Proven sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, closing deals, and managing long-term customer accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, mining, metallurgy, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Familiarity with mining and metals industry equipment, processes, or industrial solutions is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site at customer locations, conduct field visits, and adapt to industrial environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with proficiency in basic office and CRM software.
