Job summary

ProLegion in Chandigarh is seeking a Technical Quotation Expert to prepare accurate, timely quotations for engineering products and services. You will read technical specs, calculate costing, and coordinate with sales teams to finalize pricing.

The role requires 2-4 years of quotation experience, strong MS Excel skills, and excellent communication. Female candidates preferred may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical background preferred.
• Prior experience in quotation, costing, or technical sales support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical quotations based on client requirements, drawings and specifications.
• Calculate costing (material, labour, overheads, margins) accurately.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement and teams to finalize pricing.
• Maintain quotation records, follow-ups and revision history.
• Communicate with clients/vendors to clarify technical requirements.
• Ensure quotations are submitted within deadlines.
• Analyze past quotations to improve pricing accuracy and win rate.

Job Overview

We are hiring a Technical Quotation Expert to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotations for our technical/engineering products & services. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in reading technical specifications, costing, and coordinating with the sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical quotations based on client requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Calculate costing (material, labour, overheads, margins) accurately
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, teams to finalize pricing
• Maintain quotation records, follow‑ups, and revision history
• Communicate with clients/vendors to clarify technical requirements
• Ensure quotations are submitted within deadlines
• Analyze past quotations to improve pricing accuracy and win rate

Required Skills

• Good understanding of technical/engineering terminology and specifications
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and quotation , Google sheet etc
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
