Sennheiser India is seeking a Technical Application Engineer to support live performance and professional audio solutions from Gurgaon. You will design and deliver advanced training, perform product demonstrations, and provide expert technical guidance to customers and partners across India.

Technical Application Engineer - Live Performance Market

Location - Gurgaon

This role manages highly technical customers, delivers advanced product support, and conducts complex demonstrations across Sennheiser and Neumann's Professional Audio portfolio. It designs and delivers technical training programs—including certification content for employees, partners, and key influencers. The role builds strong relationships with influential industry contacts, collaborates with Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to understand complex applications, and provides technical solutions that shape current and future business. It also gathers market feedback and supports special events both remotely and onsite to ensure seamless technical execution.

Acquisition And Prospecting

• Build relationships with industry influencers, consultants, integrators, and customers within assigned markets.
• Support business development efforts by identifying and engaging potential new customers and influencers.
• Assist Sales Managers and Business Development Managers in customer acquisition activities as needed.
• Gather and communicate market feedback regarding customer needs, industry trends, competitive activities, and product opportunities.

Education Activities

• Deliver technical training programs for employees, customers, partners, and end users on existing and new products.
• Support the development and maintenance of training materials, technical documentation, and multimedia training content.
• Collaborate with Sound Academy and other internal stakeholders to improve training programs and certification curricula.
• Conduct hands-on workshops, webinars, demonstrations, and educational sessions.

Technical Services and Special Event Support

• Support the design and implementation of technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Provide RF-related services including frequency coordination, spectrum analysis, and related technical recommendations.
• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting assistance both remotely and onsite.
• Assist customers and end users during major events, installations, and critical project deployments.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation related to customer support activities and services provided.

Active Selling

• Participate in technical customer meetings alongside Sales Managers and Business Development Managers.
• Support identification of project opportunities and customer requirements.
• Assist with solution development and recommend appropriate products and system configurations.
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Utilize available tools and resources to assess customer needs and propose effective solutions.
• Support sales opportunities through technical expertise while coordinating closely with the responsible sales team.

Strategic Account Development

• Develop an understanding of key industry influencers, consultants, and decision-making processes.
• Research customer organizations and identify opportunities to expand relationships and business growth.
• Build awareness and preference for Sennheiser and Neumann solutions among consultants and influencers.
• Support strategic initiatives that position Sennheiser as a preferred technical solution provider.

Customer Service And Technical Support

• Deliver technical training and onboarding for customers implementing complex audio solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to products, systems, and applications.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate complex technical challenges as appropriate while maintaining customer communication and satisfaction.
