Job summary

HUBER+SUHNER India is seeking a result-oriented professional to promote RailCom solutions and provide technical pre-sales support across India. You will engage with Railway OEMs and system integrators, deliver field support for RF and Optical fiber products, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet customer expectations and budgets.

• Manage customer contracts with internal teams to ensure on-time project delivery and profitability.

Job description

• To establish HUBER+SUHNER as the supplier of choice within TRA market segment.


• To promote & position HUBER+SUHNER RailCom solutions like Antennas, RF and Optical products in India region.


• To expand the company reach into the Railway OEMs & system integrators across India.


• Provide technical and field support for RF & Optical fiber products and customer applications.


• To manage the customer contracts in conjunction with the concerned internal teams or partners to ensure that the project is implemented on time and to customer’s budget, and that HUBER+SUHNER's profitability margins are met.


• Continuously acquire and feedback market information and process customer’s techno-commercial data, drawings in a manner which confirms to HUBER+SUHNER processes and procedures.


• Develop new/existing product selling strategies and portray HUBER+SUHNER as the value supplier of product and services within the defined market segments (mainly Railway market) and customer base.


• Deeply engage with customers through the entire buying cycle (mainly the product positioning/RFQ/tendering stage) w.r.t Application Engineering.


• Provide technical solution to customers, participate & amp; lead the company in product site trials, lab trials, proof of concept, new product pitching & design-in.


• To conduct technical surveys from customers as required in order to fully understand the customer requirements and intentions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, Design and Application Engineering teams, Product Management teams, Market Management teams across the world to ensure customers' project execution on time.


• Support the Quality Assurance in exceptional situation to solve customer complaints.

Your profile

Education and experience:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics & Communication along with0-3 yrs experience. (Fresher can also apply). (Specialization/expertise in RF-Microwave / Optical Fiber will be an added advantage)

Skills and knowledge:

• Excellent communication skills (English),


• 1-3 years of Pre-Sales / Technical Sales experience in Railways and/or Telecom (Signaling & Telecom) market segment of India will be preferred,


• Strong Technical acumen in RF and/or Optical Fiber technologies,


• Must have a proactive approach to understand customer’s applications.


• Must be open for travelling across India on project requirement basis- to customers, partners, exhibitions, roadshow, etc.

• Responsible, reliable, accurate, analytical, and independent way of working.


• Proactive with the necessary interest and willingness to learn new things.


• Should be able to work in international, intercultural and cross functional teams.
