Hindustan Marketing Company seeks a warehouse supervisor for the Paltan Bazar Warehouse to manage inbound and outbound materials, workforce allocation, and stock verification. You will ensure accurate invoicing, packing, and material movement in line with dispatch schedules.

The role requires overseeing system updates (GRN, SAP) and maintaining 5S standards, PPE compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the commercial and logistics teams.

• Allocates manpower for loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Supervises unloading of vehicles for all material categories.
• Matches products with vendor invoices; segregates breakage, shortage and excess.
• Updates system with inbound inventory per physical stock verification; generates GRN.
• Updates SAP with stock figures.
• Supervises packing slips preparation after material verification.
• Supervises sticker allocation for cartons.
• Supervises generation of invoices.
• Supervises loading of material per trip schedule.
• Facilitates pickup of material per return request by the commercial team; updates system.
• Submits breakage claims to the supply chain for approval; generates credit notes from dealers.
• Initiates claims for breakages at the depot for incoming GRPO.
• Supervises gate passes generation.
• Supervises system updation with LR.
• Supervises creation of e-way bills and trip vouchers.
• Supervises inventory management at Paltan Bazar Warehouse: Verifies incoming materials and places them in racks; updates positions in racks; supervises picking per dispatch slips; notes variances during picking.
• Manages team: allocates duties, prepares rosters, trains, enforces PPE, and conducts 5S housekeeping.
• Participates in improvement projects with cross-functional collaboration: implements SOPs and CAPA; submits periodic MIS on inventory status.
• Keeps self updated through continuous learning to support current and future business imperatives.
• Performs duties required by changing business needs and organizational objectives.

To manage inventory of Hindustan Marketing Company at the Paltan Bazar Warehouse

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises inbound and outbound materials of Hindustan Marketing Company at the Paltan Bazar Warehouse:

o Allocates manpower for loading and unloading of vehicles

o Supervises unloading of vehicles for all categories of materials

o Matches products with vendor invoices and segregates breakage, shortage, excess

o Updates system with inbound inventory as per physical stock verification and generates GRN

o Updates SAP with stock figures

o Supervises preparation of packing slips leveraging system after verifying material

o Supervises allocation of stickers for cartons

o Supervises generation of invoices

o Supervises loading of material as per trip schedule

o Facilitates pick up of material as per return request generated by commercial team and updates system

o Submits claims to supply chain team for broken materials

Receives breakage from dealers and generates credit notes for approval of logistics

Initiates claims for breakages lying at the depot with respect to incoming GRPO

Supervises generation of Gate pass

Supervises system updation with LR

Supervises preparation of e way bill and trip voucher

Supervises inventory management at the Paltan Bazar Warehouse:

o Verifies incoming materials from system and supervises placement in racks

o Updates system with position materials in racks

o Supervises picking of materials from racks as per dispatch slips generated by the commercial team

o Updates system as per variance during the material picking process

Manages team under jurisdiction:

o Allocates duties and monitors performance on the job

o Prepares rosters and proposes leave

o Trains on the job to improve efficiencies

o Enforces PPE usage by team under jurisdiction

Undertakes 5S and good housekeeping practices in area under jurisdiction

Participates in improvement projects involving cross functional collaboration:

o Implements Standard Operating Processes (SOPs)

o Implements Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Submits MIS at periodic intervals to report inventory status

Participates in improvement projects involving cross functional collaboration

Keeps self, updated through continuous learning and critical exposure to contribute to current and future business imperatives

Performs all such duties required for this role as per the changingbusiness requirements and strategic objectives of the Organisation
