Job summary

Cama Electricals is seeking a diligent Store/Inventory Clerk to manage store operations, ensure accurate inventory levels, and oversee the production-to-depots supply chain across geographies. The role requires attention to batch numbers, GRN accuracy, and adherence to SOPs.

The candidate will coordinate with production and quality teams to maintain optimal stock, supervise store staff, and ensure timely despatches while preventing stockouts and pilferage.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning receipt, dispatch and issuance of materials.
• Knowledge of inventory controls and stock rotation.
• Ability to generate and reconcile stock reports in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Plan receipt, dispatching and issuance of materials as per specifications and timelines.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to support production requirements.
• Ensure FIFO stock rotation and proper material labeling.
• Monitor movement of materials and inventory usage.
• Oversee despatch targets from factory to depots and customers.
• Implement Standard Operating Processes in the store area.
• Ensure batch numbers, GRN, and documentation are accurate.
• Supervise store operations and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile with SAP.
• Manage returns and segregation of stock for reprocessing or storage.
• Oversee Finished Goods warehouse and ensure timely loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Provide training and supervision to team members.

Job description

To manage and control all store operation, storage and keep proper inventory management at the factory store of Cama Electricals.

To oversee finished goods, scraps and ensure uninterrupted issuance and production of inventory with accuracy of budgeted volumes from factory to depots across geographies as per quality specifications and timelines from the Cama Electricals.

To maintain and ensure all the compliances are adhered as per the company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• To plan receipt , dispatching and issuance of materials as per specifications and timelines in collaboration with the production and quality teams on daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis in accordance with customer orders communicated by sales to ensure delivery matches customer requirements.
• To maintain optimum inventory level to support the production requirement.
• To ensure the stock rotation as per the FIFO.
• To monitor the movement of materials and inventory as per the uses.
• Oversees achievement of targeted volume of despatch from the factory to the customer including depots outside Guwahati on daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis in accordance with specifications of the sales orders in terms of quantity and specification.
• Oversees implementation of Standard Operating Processes in area under jurisdiction.
• Ensures proper documentation with respect to batch numbers of incoming and outgoing FG during receipt, storage and despatch.
• Oversees efficient store operations
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for electrical components, viz cables, pipes ,etc , and other materials and Ensures physical verification of all incoming materials.
  • Ensures the proper material identification , labeling ,GRN creation and submission to purchase team as per SOP.
  • Ensures raw material, packaging materials, tools and spares, consumables are segregated during entry and exit from the stores as well as when stored
  • Ensures storage as per SOP to eliminate damage and pilferage
  • Initiates reordering of items monitoring minimum stock levels of each item to prevent stockout.
• Responsibility to ensure proper inventory control
  • To conduct physical stock verification as per the company SOPs
  • Reconcile of stock with SAP in consultation with reporting Manger
  • Generate inventory reports and stock analysis
• Takes responsibility for returns from Customers/ Depots for Cama Electricals
  • Ensure receives of breakage/trade returns from dealers/ depots and generates credit notes after proper verification and due approvals
  • Ensure segregation of material as follows:
    • Returns to factory for reprocessing and repackaging
    • Stores rest in the finished goods warehouse for future despatch
  • Initiates claims for breakages lying at the depot with respect to incoming GRPO
• Ensure and monitors efficient management of the Finished Goods Warehouse as per SOPs
• Ensure oversees timely loading and unloading of vehicles as per SOP and permitted TAT
• Ensure the proper management of Team member as Follows
  • Supervise the Incharge and other Team members
  • Allocate daily work scheduled
  • Conducts training and development programme from time to time
• Ensures compliance and safety of applicable statutory as per stipulations guidelines viz storage of hazardous electrical materials, chemicals , Health, Safety and Environment norms and ensure using ofPPE kits by the team members
• Participates in cross functional improvement projects to improve productivity and costing efficiencies
• Keeps self, updated through continuous learning and critical exposure to contribute to current and future business imperatives
• Performs all such duties required for this role as per the changingbusiness requirements and strategic objectives of the Organisation
