Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Team Lead - Tender & Contract Management in Navi Mumbai to lead end-to-end Quote-to-Contract delivery. You will partner with Sales, Product, CSP, and Operations to drive customer outcomes, governance, and continuous improvement.

You will build and coach a high-performing team, manage complex tenders, ensure timely accuracy, and foster automation and AI-enabled ways of working in a fast-paced global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Tender Management, Contract Management, Commercial Operations, or related functions.
• 3+ years of people management leading teams of 15+ employees.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience driving operational excellence, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Tender & Contract Management professionals.
• Own end-to-end tender and contract execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and TAT compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Product, CSP, and Operations teams to support customer and commercial objectives.

We are looking for a Team Lead - Tender & Contract Management to lead a team responsible for end-to-end Quote-to-Contract execution, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality tender delivery. The role partners closely with Sales, Product, CSP, and Operations teams to drive customer outcomes, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Tender & Contract Management professionals.
• Own end-to-end tender and contract execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and TAT compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Product, CSP, and Operations teams to support customer and commercial objectives.
• Drive operational performance through strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Improve customer outcomes by reducing defects, disputes, and process inefficiencies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, standardization, and best-practice sharing.
• Drive adoption of new platforms, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Build team capability through coaching, cross-training, and succession planning.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of experience in Tender Management, Contract Management, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, or related functions.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading teams of 15+ employees.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience driving operational excellence, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
