Job summary

Maersk in Mumbai, India, seeks a Lead Logistics - Contract Management Specialist to drive tender and contract workflows, update systems, and coordinate with key clients under defined SOPs.

The role requires SAP SD expertise, strong Excel skills, and the ability to drive process improvements, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or similar discipline; 3–4 years in Tender & Contract Management (must have).
• Analytical, process management, and data management capabilities.
• Expert level knowledge – Contracting & Invoicing in SAP SD Module (must have). Proficiency in Excel VBA and data analytics (good to have).
• Understanding of sales processes and SCM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform transactional activities including service info updates, surcharge updates, line creation and pricing in MARS for Key clients.
• Perform system processing per defined SOPs.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Highlight issues and request corrective action from supervisor.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding process issues as needed.
• Suggest improvements to processes and procedures.

Understands the customer tender, drafting requirements of Key clients
and performs/updates the tasks/steps in the system as illustrated
without any supervision. Performs audits of work performed by Team
member Sales.

You will be responsible to:

• Perform transactional activities/supports activities including service information updates, surcharge updates, line creation and pricing in MARS like to Key clients.

• Perform system processing as per defined guidelines/standard operating procedures.

• Respond to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

• Highlight issues, if any, and requests corrective action from supervisor.

• Communicate with stakeholders regarding process issues if required.

• Makes recommendations and suggestions on how to improve processes and procedures.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or any other similar discipline 3 – 4 years of prior experience in Tender & Contract Management process (must have)

• Analytical, process management, and data management.

• Expert Level knowledge – Contracting & Invoicing in SAP especially of SD Module (must have) Proficiency in Excel VBA Coding & Data Analytics using excel (good to have)

• Good understanding of sales process would be an advantage Good understanding SCM business would be advantageous
