Job summary

Maersk in Navi Mumbai seeks a Senior Tender & Contract Manager to lead a global team, owning end-to-end tender and contract execution with strong governance, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, CSP and Operations to support commercial objectives, drive continuous improvement, leverage automation and AI-enabled processes, and develop team capability through coaching and succession planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Tender Management, Contract Management, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, or related functions.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading teams of 15+ employees.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Tender & Contract Management professionals.
• Own end-to-end tender and contract execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and TAT compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Product, CSP, and Operations teams to support customer and commercial objectives.
• Drive operational performance through governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Improve customer outcomes by reducing defects, disputes, and process inefficiencies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, standardization, and best-practice sharing.
• Drive adoption of new platforms, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Build team capability through coaching, cross-training, and succession planning.

• Experience driving operational excellence, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
