Job summary

Jaideep Ispat & Alloys is seeking a Training & Development specialist to identify training needs across departments, plan annual/monthly calendars and coordinate programs. You will liaise with internal and external trainers, arrange venues, materials and logistics.

The role emphasizes maintaining training MIS, data analysis in MS Excel/Google Sheets, and preparing PPTs and reports to drive continuous improvement in workforce skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in identifying training needs across departments and aligning with business requirements.
• Ability to plan and maintain annual/monthly training calendars.
• Strong coordination with internal/external trainers and stakeholders.
• Logistics planning for training sessions including venue, attendees, materials and refreshments.
• Capable of facilitating trainings and supporting trainers during sessions.
• Maintenance of training MIS with dashboards and reports for management.

Role & responsibilities

• Training Need Identification (TNA): Coordinate with Department Heads to identify training needs based on skill gaps, performance and business requirements.
• Training Calendar: Prepare and maintain the annual/monthly training calendar in coordination with all departments.
• Training Coordination: Coordinate with internal trainers, external trainers, consultants and departments for training programs.
• Training Arrangement: Arrange training venue, participants, training material, equipment, attendance, refreshments and other logistical requirements.
• Training Facilitation: Facilitate and ensure smooth execution of training programs, including participant coordination and trainer support.
• Training MIS: Maintain training records and prepare daily/monthly training MIS, including planned vs. completed training, participants, hours and department-wise data.
• Excel & Data Analysis: Strong knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets for training databases, attendance, training hours, participation analysis, dashboards and reports.
• PPT & Training Material: Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations, training calendars, communication material, feedback forms and training reports.
• Training Effectiveness & Documentation: Collect participant feedback, coordinate training effectiveness assessments, maintain training records and prepare management reports highlighting gaps and improvement areas.
