Job summary

Vantageiq Technologies in Pune is seeking a sharp, proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist (IT-focused) to own multiple IT hiring mandates end-to-end, close IT roles, and push momentum without hand-holding.

This is not a fresher or coordinator role. Candidates should have strong hands-on IT hiring experience, sourcing skills on LinkedIn and Naukri, and the ability to screen candidates properly while managing the full hiring lifecycle.

Job title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (IT-Focused)

Location: Pune (Pune based candidates only)
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Background: IT / Computer Science academics and experience preferred

What we want

We're looking for a sharp, proactive recruiter based in Pune who knows how to close IT roles, not just post jobs. You should be comfortable owning hiring end-to-end and pushing things forward without hand-holding.

This is not a fresher role and not a coordinator role.

Must-haves

1. 12 years of hands-on IT hiring experience (product, services, startup, or staffing)
2. Strong sourcing skills on LinkedIn, Naukri, and similar platforms
3. Ability to screen candidates properly (not keyword matching)
4. Experience managing the full hiring lifecycle: sourcing screening interviews offer coordination
5. Clear, confident communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
6. Based in Pune and available for hybrid / in-office as needed
7. Proactive mindset follows up, nudges stakeholders, closes loops

Good to have (big plus)

1. Academic background in IT / Computer Science
2. Exposure to non-IT hiring alongside IT roles
3. Experience working directly with founders, hiring managers, or clients
4. ATS familiarity and basic reporting discipline
5. Prior mentoring of junior recruiters (informal is fine)
