Job summary

ETRADE MARKETING PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver end-user assistance, diagnose Windows OS and hardware issues, and install and configure software and peripherals across the organization.

You will handle printer setup, network troubleshooting, Office 365 configuration, and maintain IT assets while providing timely remote and on-site support to staff in Gurugram.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first-line IT support for end users.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking.
• Ability to diagnose issues independently and document resolutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to users via phone, email, remote and onsite visits.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS issues, performance problems and common errors.
• Install and configure hardware, printers, and software including Office 365.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and records; ensure proper ticketing and documentation.

Role Summary

• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting of common Windows OS issues, system slowness, application errors, blue screen, boot issues, etc.
• Desktop/Laptop hardware troubleshooting including RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.
• Printer installation and troubleshooting, including network/shared printers.
• Installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office / Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and user account-related issues.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory – user creation, password reset, account unlock and group membership.
• Basic knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi/network troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting basic TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP issues.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of network connectivity, IP address, gateway and DNS settings.
• Basic knowledge of VPN client installation and troubleshooting.
• Installation and configuration of required software and applications.
• Antivirus/endpoint security installation, troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Laptop/Desktop formatting, OS installation, driver installation and system configuration.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and shared folder/permission troubleshooting.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and hardware/software records.
• Provide first-level support to users through phone, email, remote support and onsite visits.
• Troubleshoot email, internet, printer, scanner and other peripheral-related issues.
• Maintain proper IT support tickets, incident records and documentation.
• Ability to diagnose issues independently and provide timely resolution.
