Job summary

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 experience.
• Linux/Ubuntu server administration.
• AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, VPN, LAN/WAN & troubleshooting.
• Hyper-V virtualization experience.
• Firewall knowledge (Cisco, Sophos, Fortinet) and security concepts.
• Disaster recovery & high availability experience.
• Veeam backup solutions experience.
• Microsoft 365 administration.
• Server monitoring & capacity management.
• Production environment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux production servers.
• Manage AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, user accounts & access controls.
• Perform server hardening, patching, upgrades, and security remediation.
• Manage Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and health.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery infrastructure including monitoring & restoration testing.
• Administer MS 365 including users, licenses, mailboxes, security and access policies.
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPN, LAN/WAN, routing, VLANs and network connectivity.
• Work with security and infrastructure teams on endpoint/server security & access-control policies.
• Manage SSL certificates, server services, DNS records & related infrastructure components.
• Support web/app infrastructure including Plesk/cPanel, web servers & database connectivity.
• Manage AWS/Azure infrastructure and coordinate with cloud service providers.
• Troubleshoot critical production incidents & perform root-cause analysis.
• Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades, infrastructure changes & tech refresh projects.
• Implement and maintain IT security best practices & infrastructure policies.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, network/server diagrams, SOPs & asset records.
• Coordinate with application teams, vendors, ISP/cloud providers & other stakeholders.
• Ensure availability, performance, security & reliability of IT infrastructure.

Role Summary

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Good experience with Linux/Ubuntu server administration.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS certificates, TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, VP N, LAN/WAN and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Sophos, Fortinet, or similar firewalls.
• Exposure to disaster recovery, high availability
• Hands-on experience with Veeam enterprise backup solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Good knowledge of firewall administration and security concepts.
• Experience with server monitoring and capacity management.
• Troubleshooting experience in production environments.
