Job summary

Solugenix is hiring a Desktop Administrator to support end-user computing in Hyderabad. You will handle L1 tickets, set up laptops and peripherals, and test hardware and software issues including network connections.

The role requires 2-5 years of desktop engineering experience, knowledge of Windows 11 and Mac OS, Office 365 and VPN clients, with ITIL v3 certification preferred. This is a WFO position with 24x7 shifts support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, networking or related field.
• 2-5 years of working experience as a Desktop Engineer.
• ITIL v3 certification/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle L1 tickets on the ticketing system.
• Setup laptops and peripherals and test hardware and software issues including network connections.
• Install and test laptop software applications and internet browsers.
• Test laptops to ensure proper functioning of laptops and peripherals.
• Configure LAN/Wi-Fi networks.
• Create user accounts on Office 365 and distribution lists/ shared mailboxes.

Work Timings: 24*7 Rotational shifts

• Work on L1 tickets on the ticketing System.
• Setup Laptop's and peripherals and test advance hardware issues and software issue including network connections.
• Install and test Laptop software applications and internet browsers.
• Test laptops to ensure proper functioning of laptops and other IT Peripherals.
• Experience with:
  • Laptop/Desktop Hardware.
  • Windows 11, Mac OS.
  • Application software like MS Office, Ticketing software (Fresh Service ), Adobe, Microsoft Teams, VPN Clients, Browsers, Hardening etc.
  • Configuring LAN/Wi-Fi Network.
  • Creation of user accounts on Office 365 and Distribution lists, Shared Mailboxes

Requirements

Educational & Experience:

A bachelor's degree in information technology, networking or any other related field.

2-5 years of working Experience as a Desktop Engineer.

ITIL v3 certification/experience preferred.

Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management.
