Job summary

Precision Group seeks a System Engineer L1 for Hyderabad with 2+ years of experience in desktop and Windows system support. The role covers troubleshooting hardware and software, Outlook/Office 365, DNS/Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting in a full-time capacity.

The position requires relocation near the location, 24/7 coverage with rotational shifts, and reporting to the Service Delivery Manager in a data centre management context. 10 vacancies available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of system engineering or desktop support experience.
• Graduate or postgraduate in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shooting of hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software (OS, MS Office).
• Install and configure Windows OS (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10).
• Configure and troubleshoot MS Outlook 2007/10/13/16 or Outlook Express, Office 365.
• Install/configure antivirus, backup data and restore emails (PST).
• Install/configure biometric devices.
• Manage data backup and recovery for desktops/laptops.
• Manage DNS, Active Directory, basic Windows server.
• Troubleshoot basic thin client issues.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN networking and basic routing/switching.
• Log calls to ISP for LAN/WAN/PRL issues; understand IPv4, routing and video conference networks.
• Resolve tickets within SLA through floor/remote/call support.
• Install and manage video conferences.

Role & responsibilities
