Job summary

Nibav Lifts in Chennai is seeking a capable IT professional with 3-4 years of experience in desktop support, technical support, or system administration to maintain and improve the company’s IT infrastructure. You will design, organize, and support day-to-day IT operations, manage hardware and network devices, configure Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, and document policies and procedures.

Strong communication and Jira skills are valued, with opportunities to contribute to security upgrades

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support, Technical Support or System Administration.
• Experience with hardware (desktop, laptops, printers) and network devices.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, modify, and support a company's IT infrastructure and perform day-to-day IT activities.
• Hardware: Manage and maintain systems and network hardware (laptops/desktops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, biometric devices).
• Network Administration: Install, configure, maintain Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN; troubleshoot WiFi, network and Internet connectivity issues.
• System Administration: Install/maintain Windows client & server OS, related apps, apply security patches and drivers; troubleshoot via Remote Desktop Tools.
• Documentation: Create and maintain system and network documentation, policies and SOPs.

Responsibilities: -

• Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's IT infrastructure and perform day-to-day IT activities.
• Hardware: - Manage and maintain all Systems and Network hardware such as Laptop/Desktop & Servers, Network Printers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Biometric devices.
• Network Administration: - Install, configure and maintain Firewalls, Routers and Network Switches, VPN, troubleshoot WIFI, Network and Internet connectivity issues.
• System Administration: - Install and Maintain Windows Client OS and Server OS, all related Applications & Productivity tools, install security patches & upgrades, install of Drivers and Firmware updates., troubleshoot using Remote Desktop Tools.
• Documentation: - Create and maintain all required System and Network Documentation, Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
