The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs and align with business objectives. This role requires overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including demand forecasting, supplier relationships, inventory management, transportation, distribution and logistics.
Strategy Development and Implementation
Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs and meet business goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure supply chain strategies align with broader organizational objectives.
Demand Forecasting and Resource Planning
Forecast demand trends based on historical data, market analysis and business insights.
Work closely with internal departments (Sales, Production, Finance) to align resources and capabilities effectively.
Work closely with internal departments, including Sales, Production and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of supply chain strategies.
Provide accurate lead time, inventory data and updates to support customer commitments.
Supplier and Vendor Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and third-party logistics providers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement and improving delivery performance.
Monitor supplier performance and develop mitigation strategies for any identified risks.
Inventory Management
Oversee inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
Implement efficient storage and warehousing practices to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with inventory control processes, policies and systems for accuracy and traceability.
Transportation and Distribution Management
Manage transportation and distribution to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline domestic and international shipments.
Review and optimize shipping methods to improve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement and Lean Practices
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, workflows and systems.
Implement best practices to drive cost savings while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Team Management and Development
Set clear performance goals for the supply chain team and provide coaching, mentorship and feedback.
Lead, train, and develop the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide regular reporting on supply chain performance, challenges and opportunities.

Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive advantage in supply chain operations.
