Lohia Corp in Kanpur, India, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Leader to oversee procurement, planning, and inventory control. You will coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted material flow, align production plans, and maintain optimal stock levels.

Role Summary: Supply Chain Management
To ensure uninterrupted availability of materials and components required for manufacturing by effectively managing supplier schedules, supplier capacity, material flow, and supply chain operations. The role is responsible for coordinating with suppliers, planning, manufacturing, logistics, purchase, and quality teams to achieve on-time production and delivery commitments while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
Release and monitor supplier schedules based on production plans and customer commitments.
Ensure timely availability of machined components, sheet metal & fabricated parts, bought-out items, and assemblies as per manufacturing requirements.
Monitor adherence of suppliers to delivery schedules and expedite critical materials whenever required.
Translate production plans into supplier requirements and execution plans.
Monitor material flow from suppliers to plant and ensure alignment with manufacturing schedules.
Manage supply risks and develop contingency plans for critical components.
Drive material availability for new product development and engineering change implementation.
Work closely with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Stores, and Logistics teams.
Participate in daily production review meetings and resolve material-related constraints.
Ensure alignment between demand forecasts, production plans, supplier schedules, and inventory levels.

Lead and manage the Supply Chain team including planners, schedulers, expeditors, and logistics coordinators.
Establish performance objectives and monitor team effectiveness.
Develop team capabilities through training, coaching, and structured problem-solving approaches.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Maintain optimum inventory levels while ensuring uninterrupted production.
Monitor inventory health, slow-moving inventory, excess inventory, and stock-outs.
Drive inventory reduction initiatives without compromising delivery performance.
Improve inventory accuracy and material planning effectiveness.
Resolve day-to-day supply chain challenges related to delivery delays, shortages, transportation issues, and supplier constraints.
Lead recovery plans during supply disruptions.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quick resolution of critical issues.
Escalate high-risk situations with appropriate mitigation plans.
Educational Qualification: 10 to 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Supplier Management.
Experience: Experience in Capital Equipment, Machine Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Heavy Engineering, or other Discrete Manufacturing industries.
