Job summary

Kaynes Technology in India seeks a seasoned SCM professional to lead procurement planning, supplier development, and inventory management. You will drive cost-reduction initiatives and ensure on-time material availability for production through robust supplier governance and data-driven MIS reporting.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems to optimize QCD performance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Engineering or MBA/PGDM.
• 6–12 years of experience in SCM / Procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Material Planning, Procurement & Inventory Management.
• Hands-on experience in Supplier Management, Vendor Development & Negotiation.
• Knowledge of Cost Reduction, QCD, Logistics & Supply Chain Operations.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP, MS Excel and MIS Reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams, supplier escalations and material availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans to ensure timely material availability for production.
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, development, and performance to achieve QCD targets.
• Manage Purchase Orders, scheduling, supplier follow-ups, and delivery performance.
• Drive inventory planning, shortage management, CTB, excess inventory, and obsolescence control.
• Lead cost reduction, cost optimization, and supplier price negotiation initiatives.
• Monitor subcontracting, logistics, freight, material inward, and supply chain operations.
• Coordinate with PPC, Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Operations for seamless material flow.
• Monitor supplier quality, IQC rejections, RMA, and corrective actions.
• Ensure SCM governance, MRP/ERP compliance, process excellence, and QCD performance.
• Prepare and review SCM MIS, dashboards, supplier performance, inventory, and procurement reports.
