A leading automotive manufacturer in India is seeking a Supplier Quality Incharge for the electrical commodity. This role involves managing supplier quality for electrical components, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates should have a B Tech degree and at least 6 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in handling electrical parts.
• Collaborate with NPD, Production, Supplier teams and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance and assist suppliers with Quality Management System.

Responsabilités

• Monitor Vehicle Assembly FTTQ, Inline/Field Issues.
• Manage T1, T2~Tn suppliers, conduct regular audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives at the supplier end.

Connaissances

Knowledge on electrical parts including EV-specific parts

Exposure to PCB assembly processes

Strong knowledge of AIAG Core tools

Ability to travel to supplier locations

Overview

Supplier Quality Incharge – Electrical Commodity role at Kia India. Apply to join the team focused on electrical parts and supplier quality management.

Responsibilities

• Having knowledge on electrical parts including EV-specific parts (BMS, Electric motors, Switches, IBU, ACU, wiring harnesses, headlamps, etc.).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in handling electrical parts.
• Exposure to PCB assembly processes - SMT Manufacturing (Stencil printing, Component placing, Reflow soldering, AOI/EOL, Testing, etc.).
• Collaborate with NPD/Production/Supplier teams and identify root causes and implement robust corrective and preventive actions at the supplier’s end.
• Monitor Vehicle Assembly First Time Throughput/Quality (FTTQ) Inline/Field Issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives at the supplier end.
• Strong knowledge of AIAG Core tools (SPC, MSA, PFMEA, CP, APQP).
• Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
• Manage T1, T2~Tn suppliers; plan and conduct regular audits at the supplier end to validate process and product.
• Ensure compliance and assist suppliers with adherence to the Quality Management System (IATF16949/ISO 9001).
