Job summary

Duroflex is seeking a Production Supervisor / Production Associate to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at the plant. You will drive production targets, ensure quality and safety standards, manage shop-floor manpower, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth production.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of relevant experience in foam, mattress, furniture, FMCG, or related manufacturing, with a Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Experience in foam, mattress, furniture, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure shift-wise production targets are achieved.
• Plan and monitor manpower deployment, attendance, productivity, and shift operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and production processes.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Monitor machine and equipment performance and report breakdowns or issues promptly.
• Maintain daily production records, shift reports, MIS, and other operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, safety guidelines, housekeeping, and workplace standards.
• Train and guide operators on work instructions, safety procedures, quality requirements, and process improvements.
• Identify and resolve shop-floor issues to minimize production losses and downtime.
• Support continuous improvement, Kaizen, productivity enhancement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor production quality and take corrective actions in coordination with the Quality team.

Position Overview

Required Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

3–6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations.

Experience in foam, mattress, furniture, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
